I work at a nissan dealership as a tech and I will say from experience of working on these cars, they are a pos compared to the older z32's. Quality was Massively sacrificed on the 350z to make them "more affordable". I wouldn't consider them a downgrade as they are just the next step in the long line of Z cars, but I will say overall they will never be what the Z32 was, especially comparing it to the TT. Performance speaks for itself, the older Z32 beats it in pretty much all aspects on the track not to mention carries a much sportier styling and charisma. Only NA vs NA does the Z33 show any real improvement, and that being only in the weight/power factors.
Overall, I would never buy one, even if they came out with a factory 350ztt.
